Nicole Fullaway, PT, DPT is a licensed physical therapist with over ten years of experience. She currently treats patients in many of our Northeast locations.
Dr. Fullaway has experience in treating myriad musculoskeletal and neuromuscular disorders including joint replacements, sports-related injuries, balance, and gait dysfunctions, as well as orthopedic conditions affecting the spine. Nicole has a particular interest in treating disorders of the cervical spine (neck) with a focus on the impact of cervical spine dysfunction on other areas of the body, such as the midback or the shoulder and arm. Dr. Fullaway is skilled at adapting her treatment to each patient’s personality and individual needs.
Nicole’s desire to pursue a career in Physical Therapy was driven by a life of competitive athletics. From a young age, Nicole could appreciate the need for effective care for the body in order to perform at one’s peak athletically. This has easily translated into helping people return to their highest functional abilities as a physical therapist. Nicole currently uses the principles established from competitive sports to enhance her performance as a leader and member of a team at Northeast.
Dr. Fullaway attended Temple University for her undergraduate studies where she played Division I Lacrosse. In 2010 she completed her Doctor of Physical Therapy at Drexel University where she met her now husband, Dustin.
Nicole is joined at Northeast Spine and Sports Medicine by her husband, Dr. Dustin Fullaway, and sister-in-law, Hanna Fullaway. In her free time, Nicole values time spent with her two children and her family and friends. She still loves being involved in athletics, spending her free time exercising or cheering for her Philadelphia sports teams.
