Mary Ann Levitt is a highly experienced and sensitive acupuncturist and Chinese herbalist with a long history of managing pain and assisting in recovery from injury and illness. She works in the Northeast Spine and Sports Medicine facility in Freehold, NJ.
Mary Ann graduated from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine, New York campus, in 2002. She Is certified in both acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. She has studied Tibetan energy healing for many years and is certified in Tse Dup Jha Ri Ma, an ancient method of balancing the body’s elements. She is an avid meditator and takes many courses in exploring different levels of consciousness.
Mary Ann is dedicated to her daughter, Katie, who lives in Oakland, California, and her dog Zuzu, who lives with her and her husband David in Highland Park, New Jersey. She started out her life after college as a journalist. When she discovered alternative medicine she began studying many different methods, eventually putting her on the path to becoming an acupuncturist.
