She has previous clinical experience in both the outpatient setting and the acute care hospital setting.
Dr. D’Angelo studied Health Science at Stockton University and graduated with her Bachelor of Science degree in 2017. In 2020, Dr. D’Angelo received her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Stockton University. During her time at Stockton University, she was a member of the Physical Therapy Club, and was able to volunteer at the Atlantic City Marathon as well as help organize and run a session for the Get Fit Seniors program.
Dr. D’Angelo became interested in the field of Physical Therapy through the experiences of her family members who had rehabilitation for various injuries. After attending a few physical therapy sessions with her mom and sister, Dr. D’Angelo began volunteering at NorthEast Spine and Sports Medicine to further increase her understanding of the field. It was during this time that she realized that becoming a Physical Therapist would give her the perfect opportunity to help others return to living a life without pain. While completing both her undergraduate and doctoral education, Dr. D’Angelo remained at NorthEast Spine and Sports medicine as a PT aide and office assistant to help gain real-life patient experiences and further increase her knowledge of Physical Therapy.
In her free time, Dr. D’Angelo enjoys spending time with family and friends. In the summer, you can find her at the beach, and in the winter, she enjoys skiing around her family’s home in upstate New York.
