Edward K. Rodriguez is a New Jersey licensed Physical Therapist who joined the Northeast family in 2007. His experience has lead him to treating a myriad of musculoskeletal and neuromuscular conditions, pre & post-op surgeries, joint replacements, spinal conditions, hip/knee/ankle and shoulder/elbow/hand conditions, balance and gait dysfunctions, as well as sports-related injuries. His manual skills include various techniques in joint mobilization, stretching, and soft tissue manipulation. Though not a specialty, he is highly experienced in treating the shoulder. These combined with good efficient exercise will allow his patients to rise above their limitations and step back into their lives.
A graduate from De LaSalle University – HSC, Ed has over 19 years of clinical experience in the rehabilitation of sports-related injuries and numerous orthopedic musculoskeletal conditions in an outpatient orthopedic environment. The growth of his knowledge and training are continuously manifested through CEU courses which have been focused on various evidence-based treatments of the cervical/thoracic/lumbosacral spine, upper and lower extremities, as well as balance in both the adolescent and geriatric populations. His most current certifications include but are not limited to STMT-C, Bio-Integrative Myofascial Release, and Utilizing Pilates Principles to enhance rehab outcomes.
He has a profound understanding of patients’ ailments, an attentive eye to identify muscle/postural imbalances and an esteemed ability to implement personalized goal-oriented exercises. His passion is to give quality care and patient education, which ultimately involves the restoration of flexibility, strength, endurance, coordination, and balance. His enthusiasm and caring disposition motivate patients during their rehabilitation process.
