Dr. Alan Guy specializes in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. Following completion of a General Surgery internship at Nassau University Medical Center in East Meadow, NY, Dr. Guy completed his Physiatry residency training at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center, where he served as Chief Resident in 2012-2013. Dr. Guy completed his undergraduate BA with Honors in Psychology at CUNY Brooklyn College and went on to get his MD at Sackler Faculty of Medicine in Tel Aviv, Israel.
Dr. Guy's medical interests include Interventional Pain Management, Sports Medicine, Musculoskeletal Medicine, Electrodiagnostics, and Regenerative Injection Therapy (RIT). He was a 2013 scholarship recipient for the Fundamentals of Pain Management Interdisciplinary Primer Course at the Annual Scientific Meeting of the American Pain Society.
Dr. Guy is a member of the Association of Academic Physiatrists, American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, American Pain Society, and American Medical Association. When not working, Dr. Guy enjoys spending time with his family and four nieces and nephews. He is a model train enthusiast and enjoys working on his G-gauge garden railway. A Queens native, he is an avid baseball fan and loves to root for his hometown Mets.
