Min Yang, Ph.D and PA-C, is a spine and sports medicine physician assistant who is in treating patients of all ages for various musculoskeletal issues involving the spine, as well as joint, muscle, and ligament issues with acute and chronic conditions.
Dr. Yang obtained her Ph.D degree in Cell Biology in China and then moved to USA. She did research in cancer and immunology in NIH/NCI and Stanford University and then pursued her master’s in physician assistant studies from Mississippi College. Prior to joining NSSM, she worked as a Physician Assistant in Endocrine and Rheumatology. Her diversified working experience in research and clinic can help our patients in many areas of patient care from treating patients with evidence patient care to educating patients so that they can make informed decisions on their health care needs.
Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family and two children. She is an avid tennis fan and loves playing tennis. She firmly believes a multidisciplinary team combining the latest technology with traditional medical treatment provides treatment and therapy tailored to patients’ specific needs.
