Dr. Rachel Thorpe is a chiropractor specializing in treating various neuromusculoskeletal conditions including neck pain, chronic low back pain, sprains, radiculopathy, lumbar stenosis, disc herniations, and vertigo. Dr. Thorpe offers chiropractic services at Northeast Spine and Sports Medicine in Point Pleasant, NJ.
Rachel graduated from Virginia Tech in 2018 with a bachelors degree in Clinical Neuroscience and minor in Biology. During her undergraduate studies she expressed her passion for healthcare by completing a medical mission trip to the Dominican Republic serving those with limited access to resources. She also spent her undergraduate years working in a research lab where she studied brain development in adolescence.
Upon graduation, Dr. Thorpe enrolled in the University of Bridgeport Chiropractic College in Bridgeport, Connecticut where she graduated at the top of her class and with Summa Cum Laude distinction in May of 2022. There she completed her clinical rotation at a local community clinic where she had the opportunity to serve the greater Bridgeport area.
Dr.Thorpe’s passion for learning and patient centered approach has positioned her to provide the highest level of care. She believes it's paramount to treat each patient as a whole entity, focusing on biomechanics and getting to the root cause of pain. In her free time she enjoys skiing, yoga, and hiking.
