Michael Pismarov D.C., CCSP is a chiropractic physician with 10 years of experience specializing in conservative management of sports-related musculoskeletal injuries. He is trained in treating both spinal and non-spinal complaints with a focus on returning patients to optimal function. He is currently practicing at our Point Pleasant Location.
Dr. Pismarov graduated from D'Youville College in 2008 with his Bachelor's of Science in Biology and later his Doctorate in Chiropractic in 2011. During his chiropractic education, he had the privilege of taking part in two significant clinical externships: one at the world-renowned John-Hopkins Hospital in the Blaustein Pain Treatment Center where he learned some of the most advanced pain treatment options with a focus on an integrative and multidisciplinary approach; the other, a hands-on sports focus working with the Buffalo Bandits, a professional lacrosse team during the 2010-2011 season. Both experiences elevated his knowledge and standard of care to help patients navigate complex conditions using the most effective multidisciplinary treatment options. Whether you’re a high-level athlete or pain has kept you sidelined, let Dr. Pismarov help you get back to doing what you love!
Dr. Pismarov has continually strived to better his education with a special focus on functional rehabilitation of the spine and various myofascial techniques aimed at improving joint mechanics and function. He holds certifications as a Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician, Graston provider, Functional Range Assessment, Functional Range Release, Myofascial distortion technique, and chiropractic biophysics.
In his free time, Dr. Pismarov likes to travel back to his hometown of Buffalo NY to spend time with friends and family. Additionally, he enjoys photography, videography, and building computers in his spare time.
